 o  To persuade the reader or listener that something should or should not be the case

o  1. Thesis : Contains the announcement or issue.
   2. Argument : Present reasons for concern leading the recommendation
   3. Recommendation : States of what ought or ought not happen .

•  Thesis

Do you know what the meaning corruption ? What is the relation between money and corruption ? Well, corruption is common everywhen in the world , even in the U.S . It’s just a matter of internsity however, it’s quite shockin when one reliable  survey claims jakarta as the most corrupt place in indonesia

• Argument

The survey has made me said , actually because stay and earn living here in the capital . As most people know , Tanjung Priok Port smuggling is not a new thing at all. Enterpreneurs who want to minimize their tax payments tend to do such a thing more often . They even bribe

Well, i think the measures take so far to overcome the problems by ponishing the corruptions is still not por enough. We have to prevent the younger generations from getting a bad mentality caused by corruption .

I Believe we should start at the earliest stages in school and i think everyone should be involved in the effort to eradicate corruption 


example 2 :

   Dear Sir

We are writing to complain about ads on TV . There are so many ads especially during our favorite program . We think they should be stopped for a number of reasons .

First ,  ads are nuisance. They go for a long time and there are so many . Sometimes there seens to be more ads than programs.

Second, ads are a bad influence on people. They try to encourage people to buy unhealty food like beer , soft drink , candy and chips and they make people want things they don’t really need and cannon afford .

Finally , they people who make ads have to much say in what program people wacth , That is because they want to pull all their ads on popular program that a lot of people watch . Some programs whick are not so popular get stopped because they do not attact enough ads , even though those program may be someone’s favorite .

For those reasons , we think your Tv station should stop showing ads. They interrupt program , are a bad influence on people and sometimes put a stop to people’s favorite show . We are sik of ads and now we mostly watch channel 2 ( ABC )
